Now, the Oregon-based company brings that same spirit into trail running with the Seek, a shoe developed not only for speed and agility but also for sustainability and real-world durability.

The Seek isn’t a retooled hiking shoe or a rushed entry into the running category. It’s a project born of community feedback and rigorous testing. KEEN’s product team conducted in-depth interviews with runners across North America and partnered with a group of wear-testers to create and refine the shoe’s geometry and fit. One of KEEN’s own developers, Scott Robertson, logged 900 trail miles in prototype versions during 2024 alone—cementing Seek’s place as a runner-born design.

Available soon with bigger plans ahead
The Seek trail runner launches globally on July 25 in men’s and women’s sizes for $230 CAD. It will be available on www.keenfootwear.ca and at select retailers. KEEN has also hinted at additional trail running styles arriving in 2026, designed to cater to various terrains and running styles—further expanding its outdoor performance lineup.
